Chapter 20

Daniel kept Nora by his side as he raced through town toward her cabin. He needed to be with her in every way, they couldn’t wait any longer. He knew she felt the same way too.

Daniel pulled in front of the house and helped her out of his side of the car. He threaded his hands through hers and pulled her behind him up the front porch. She searched in her purse for her keys.

“I know you all don’t lock things around here but after what happened to Alexis…”

“You absolutely should always lock your door,” Daniel admonished. He needed her to be safe.

“Yes, officer, I will remember that.” Nora giggled as she finally pulled out her keys. She was moving too slow, so he took them out of her hands and unlocked the door, pulling her inside. Nora laughed. “My goodness, Deputy Dan, aren’t you eager.”

He showed her just how much by pushing her up against the door and laying claim to her lips.

She was just as eager, because her arms went under his shirt as her fingers caressed every groove of his abs. She pulled on his shirt. “Off, now, please.”

Daniel wasn’t one to argue, and he stripped his shirt off his body in one motion. Not to waste any more time, he pulled his pants down as well. Nora stood there staring at his body with longing and his heartbeat sped up. This woman was going to kill him, and soon.

“Now you,” he said gruffly, pulling her dress up and over her head in one motion before she could protest.

He wasn’t prepared for the vision of Nora standing in her living room in just her underwear. They were black, to match her dress, and they revealed just enough of her body to tease him endlessly.

“I want to touch all of you,” he said in a hoarse whisper, running his fingers down her pale soft belly. She shuddered at the motion.

“Bedroom,” she said, turning him and pushing him in that direction. Her hands ran along his back as she walked in front of him, Daniel loved how much she enjoyed touching him. He hadn’t gotten many touches in his lifetime, and he found that now he may be an addict.

Her hands dropped lower and caressed the cheeks of his ass. “I’ve been wanting to do this for days,” she said.

“Oh, really?”

“Yeah, you know how to fill out a pair of jeans, DD.”

When they got to the bedroom, he turned on her and pulled her close to him once again. She was so soft and warm, and she practically purred at his touch.

“Nora, can I…”

“Please, Daniel, you don’t have to ask anymore. You can do whatever you want with me. Well, nothing too kinky, well damn, maybe some kinky stuff, now that I’m thinking about it now with you, oh my God I’m rambling why am I so nervous?”

Daniel laughed and rubbed his hands in circles on her back. “Do you need a moment?”

“No way, we’ve had a lot of moments, let’s do this.
